The full name of A Dinosaur's Tale is We're Back! - A Dinosaur's Tale, a children's platform game in which children will find an aesthetic similar to that of any cartoon series. A Dinosaur's Tale is inspired by the movie of the same name, from 1993.

Running and jumping is the basic mechanism in A Dinosaur's Tale to advance through the levels horizontally, as in all classic arcade platforms. What makes this game unique, however, apart from also being able to download it for free, is the infantile nature of the various characters, and the emergence of different dinosaurs in action.

There is almost always an evil doctor to be overcome in any platform game. In A Dinosaur's Tale, it's Dr. Screweyes , but to beat him, you have to overcome many levels. The difficulty of A Dinosaur's Tale is not excessive, as it's clearly aimed at children.
